My name is Mark Purtell and this is my wife Dawn.  Our daughter Emma helps out when we let her out of her cage, her brother Richy "the animal" tears stuff apart, Daisy is our granddaughter and LOVES to 'help' with everything!  Romeo was our Shop Cat --we miss him every day. 

We own and operate Mill Creek Motor Works, Inc.  and have been in business in Westminster since 1998.  We are a family oriented shop concentrating on Hondas and Acuras - Maintenance Services and General Repairs.  We work on all Asian Imports, however, my expertise is with the Honda line.  I started at Bel Air Honda in 1986, am Honda Factory trained, and am Automotive Service Excellence Certified (ASE). I have now been working on Hondas for over half of my life, and still enjoy it.           

I work on cars because I like it.  I like helping people.  My years of Honda experience will serve you well.  With low overhead, I am able to save you money while still supplying you with dealership-quality service and genuine Honda/Acura parts.  My owning the business allows me the flexibility to work with my customers, get to know them and let them get to know me.  My present customers are my best advertisement!  They ask me for business cards to distribute!

My work ethic is extraordinary.  I have a 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee.  I enjoy doing the job right the first time.  A phrase you might hear me say is "There is never enough time to do the job right, but there is always enough time to do the job over."  This is a true statement --  when a job comes back faulty, I have to stop what I am doing and correct the fault.  No one likes doing the same thing twice.  It is an inconvenience to you, our customer, and a liability to me as I should be spending this time on another job.  I have been asked to do partial repairs -- for some jobs this is ok but for others it is not.  Before risking the safety of any customer (and their family/passengers), I will refuse to do the job.

Quality equipment is just as important as quality workmanship.  I pride myself on having both.  I am very detail-oriented, and will go the extra mile on your car because I want to.  I believe it shows when one enjoys what they are doing - it shows in their work, in their attitude and in their reputation.  Our business has more than doubled with very little advertising -- word of mouth growth.  Your friends, relatives and neighbors are the best advertisements we could hope for.  We start with one customer and then we hear from their parents, siblings, neighbors, coworkers, etc.  This is a testament to our work ethic, quality and reputation.

My mission is to fix cars and earn enough money to support my family.  I am the only Technician and have no plans for expansion.  I enjoy providing personal service.  I am also the Service Write and the Customer Service Department!  Dawn handles all of the Administrative matters and generally keeps the business going.  Our goals are to make our customers happy, run a safe, clean shop, and take care of our family.  Making some new friends in the neighborhood would be nice, too!
